Heading shortly to a working lunch meeting of our local education association and then it’s off to NJEXCEL, where I am presenting at two Technology Integration institutes for 40-50 or so program participants. I’ll be leading a discussion on Web 2.0 classroom applications (drawing heavily from my NJELITE presentations [here and here]), social networking (for students and educators), New Jersey’s 21st Century Skills initiative and more.
We’ll also be watching and discussing the Two Million Minutes documentary (which I’m really looking forward to), getting a hands-on demo of ThinkFinity, and maybe even talking about the upcoming NJ rollout of Powerful Learning Practice, run by my friends Will Richardson and Sheryl Nussbaum-Beach (can’t wait to get started with THAT!).
This is going to be fun! I’m looking forward to hanging out with some of New Jersey’s best and brightest up-and-coming school leaders. I’m bringing along my nifty new Nikon D40 and hopefully will be posting some snapshots in my Flickr stream.
Ok, gotta run! See ya!
