  • Our Middle School Student Newspaper/Multimedia Club Launches Tomorrow!

I just finished putting the finishing touches on the presentation we’ll be using tomorrow after school tomorrow to launch the TBird Times, our middle school newspaper/multimedia club. It’s a bit long but I think it conveys my vision, I tested it on my daughter Holly (who is in 7th grade and will be joining the club) and she gave it two thumbs up. I still need some documentation (permission forms, etc.) but we’re basically ready to rock! The show goes on at 3:05 pm tomorrow, Monday, September 15th, with a make-up meeting scheduled for the next day. Anyway, here are the slides. Let me know what you think! -kj-

  1. It looks like a great presentation. I wasn’t sure if it is for the kids only or the parents as well.
    Good Luck!

  2. Thanks Faye, it’s for the kids, I’ll tweak it for the parents, should have made that clear! :) -kj-

  3. Good luck with your club:) Our clubs start this week too and my Podcasting club starts today. I held it last year too.

  4. Thanks Denise! Good luck with yours!

  5. I soooooooo can’t wait to follow your journey with the newspaper this year. And I’m CERTAIN there will be an RSS feed on it, ’cause I intend to subscribe to it. Wish I were back in Middle School so I could join. Can’t wait to see what your kids produce which I’m sure will be AWESOME!!! Best of luck to you and the T-Birders

  6. Thanks Nancy! I’ll let the club members know! :)
