Hi everyone,

Count Us In (http://www.abc.net.au/countusin/) is a production of ABC – no, not Channel 6 here in the Phildaelphia area – but another television broadcaster – the Australian Broadcasing Corporation. It’s “PBS” down under, so to speak.

Count Us In is an very well designed and engaging site intended to help early math learners understand basic math concepts. Many of them are quite challenging, actually (try #15, the last on the bottom row) … some are even next to impossible (try #14 – I can’t seem to get it right!). Nonetheless, there are many, many excellent math activities here that elementary teachers can use with their math students to convey and reinforce concepts. Parents can even download the games and run them locally – without an Internet connection. Very nice! Worth checking out.
