Hi everyone,

Sorry for the late post today, it’s  been a hectic day!

A couple of weeks ago I came across http://childtopia.com/. I don’t know where I found it, so if you recently blogged, tweeted or otherwise shared it, THANK YOU, let me know in the comments!

http://childtopia.com/ is a dynamic, fun, wonderfully designed interactive learning experience that kids will enjoy for hours. In my view, the best sites for elementary students allow them to navigate on their own. So it goes with http://childtopia.com/!

This multilingual, graphics-rich, totally free site with a huge variety of learning activities spanning many different categories. Some are pure instruction, some are more game like, all are incredibly well designed and fun to play!

Whether students are starting with the basics – like learning to write numbers (as above), or want to go a bit further and try their hand at other activities in multiple academic categories (as below)…

Everything they encounter will be extremely well created, with audible prompts, engaging graphics, and a dead-simple user interface for movement within the site. They do sell PC versions of these activities for those without Internet access. The entire library isn’t online, but what IS here is excellent. Check it out for yourself, visit http://childtopia.com/ today!

Hope this helps!
