How to create a survey form using Google Docs

30 Dec 2008 @ 10:52 am · 11 Comments ·

Hey everyone, if you’ve got a Google Account, you NEED to know how to create a Google form. They’re easy, fun, and incredibly useful. While not as powerful feature-wise as Zoomerang or Survey Monkey, for many people, Google Forms will have all the functionality necessary!

Here’s a short (8 minute) screencast by my daughter Holly (age 13) demonstrating the process. If you’re a fan of the Twilight series, you’ll especially enjoy her example questions! If the screen below is too small, click here.

Holly great job with that, especially to hear how many hits you received on your other GoogleForm.

Thanks for the detailed and easy-to-follow tutorial! I’d love to share it with middle & upper school teachers & students at my school in Oakland, CA. Is that OK with you?

kudos to your daughter on this screencast, Kevin…a few students that I work with are going to create a small little library of similar screencasts to teach our teachers how to do the kind of things that your daughter shared. I just showed one of my students your daughter’s screencast today to get her going on this.

    Thanks for sharing!

You are welcome Matt! Will pass along your gratitude to Holly. There must be other similar videos out there on this as well, no?

Very nicely done. Even a dinosaur can learn, when topics are presented well! Thank you.
