Need ideas to inspire your teaching? Just click here!
9 CommentsGood morning all,
The web is full of great teaching ideas, the trick is finding the ones that inspire you – when you need to be inspired! I recently happened across Mark Warner’s amazing Ideas to Inspire, a collection of highly interactive, multimedia-embedded Google presentations with terrific project and lesson ideas utilizing many different Web 2.0 technologies (and more) across the curriculum. A true collaborative effort that started with a creative spark by one individual has quickly grown into something much bigger than any one person! If that’s not the spirit of Web 2.0, I don’t know what is!
Ideas to Inspire is easy to use. Simply click the area you want to explore and start the presentation!
The presentation “25 Ideas for Inspiring Writing” is a great example of the content that awaits you here. This colorful, fun presentation quickly provides an overview of 25 tools you and your students can easily use for fun projects and more. You may be familiar with several already, but I guarantee you’ll find several new ones – AND specific integration ideas you need to bring the tool into your classroom. Score!
The best part is that this is a living, growing collection. Have ideas to contribute? Send ‘em over via email or Twitter (the links are on the site). But first, spend some time exploring the presentations Mark and the others have so kindly made available. What a resource! Thanks guys!
Hope this helps,

Thanks for your lovely post about the site. I originally created it to give me an easy way to find my collaborative writing presentation – so I didn’t have to remember the horrible Google Docs address!
The success of the site is down to the fantastic collaboration from wonderful teachers around the world!
