If you are NOT already a PBS Teacher, by all means, SIGN UP (full disclosure: I just did, even though I’ve been a fan of FRONTLINE for a long, long time!) so that you can take advantage of the outstanding features PBS makes available to teachers worldwide!
The December 8th webinar, “Education in the Digital Age: a tour of FRONTLINE’s Digital Nation” features Rachel Dretzin, whom I met at NECC this year. Rachel is dynamic, insightful, smart, witty, driven, and focused on exploring the needs of 21st century teachers and students and is the driving force behind the FRONTLINE: Digital Nation initiative at PBS. The entire series should be required viewing for teachers and parents today. I can’t attend, but fortunately, these sessions are archived for later viewing.
