Harcourt School.com’s Math Advantage (Gr. 1-8)

Good morning everyone!

Textbook publishers are beefing up their websites with instructional content tied to curriculum like never before. Harcourt School has a math site that is one of the best I’ve seen. Here is the link:


As you will see, their are excellent, grade-level specific excercises are tied to their particular texts, but they are still clearly of value when teaching these concepts. The activities are well designed, fast-loading Shockwave and Flash programs. Just a few clicks will show you these lessons can be used in a variety of settings, either individually by students or with the Numonics board.

Don’t miss the “E-Lab,” which is a specific collection of concept-based activities for grades 3-6 that include printable answer sheets (see the ‘Teacher and Parent Resources’ link underneath the grade listing. Very handy!

This site definitely belongs in your list of favorites for math reinforcement!
