I was just “friended” on Lucy Gray’s Global Education Collaborative by Carol Anne McGuire, an award-winning Teacher of the Blind and Visually Impaired at Imperial Elementary School in Anaheim, California. She has developed an awe-inspiring collection of truly global classroom projects for students, utilizing the Apple iLife suite. For the big picture, check out this overview. You will NOT believe what Carol is achieving with her students – including blind children making movies, I kid you not – utilizing every component of the iLife suite (along with a very spiffy rear-projection SmartBoard that was DONATED to her classroom).
